On January 15 the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards were presented live on NBC from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The following winners can be found in Merrick Library's DVD collection:

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement to actor Morgan Freeman. The 74-year old Mr. Freeman received the Award from actress Helen Mirren, his co-star in the recent movie Red (available in the Merrick collection), and actor Sidney Poitier who was given the DeMille Award in 1982.
