The Golden Globe Nominations are in...!

On December 11 the Hollywood Foreign Press Association 
announced its nominees for the 
72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards. 
The following films receiving nominations 
can be found in Merrick Library's DVD collecton:



"The Grand Budapest Hotel" - Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy; Best Actor (Ralph Fiennes); Best Director and Screenplay (Wes Anderson)


"The Hundred Foot Journey" - Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy (Helen Mirren)


"Ida" - Best Foreign Language Film

"The Lego Movie" - Best Animated Feature Film

"The Normal Heart (HBO)"-Best TV Movie or Miniseries; Best Actor (Mark Ruffalo); Best Supporting Actor (Matthew Bomer)

The 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards 
will be presented live from Hollywood on 
Sunday, January 11 at 8 p.m. over the NBC network. 
For the third and what they say the final time
 Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will cohost the event.
